if traveling with kids I don’t think the upgrade to preferred is worth it. We didn’t really get much more Butler service. Other than him giving us a report each day of which restaurants were open and what time was best to go. Mo was very nice and we were able to contact him all week via what’s ap. The preferred check in was nice we were taken to a separate room and served drinks by the bartender and enjoyed nice canapés and small sandwiches. There are pros and cons.would I return.no. We are just wrapping up our week and here is an honest review. they say they’ll be 30-45 min so we make sure we’re at the room within the time frame - the food showed up within 20 min before we made it back to room and they wouldn’t leave it at door - so no food.) - no towels available after 3pm (they’ve run out) - lots of noise from hallway and neighbouring rooms - bizarre bathroom setup with NO counter space, hooks or shelves for bathroom items Would recommend this resort for adults only or families with children 9+ More Show less Really hard to get food and with toddlers, that’s a problem - there is a small food hut down on the beach that opens at 11:30 but it’s totally out of the way / inconvenient - there is room service but that’s also really annoying (ie. Pros: - Good customer service - everyone friendly and happy to help - Buffet is decent - the made to order pasta / omelettes are great but they REALLY need to pick up the pace - the wait is really long - no hustle - water park is part of the resort and awesome! But only for 9+ kids - there are no smaller slides appropriate for smaller children - disappointing - don’t need reservations for a la Carte - clean grounds, rooms, pools - smaller resort so short walks to mostly everything - easy check in Cons: - water park not suitable for smaller children - would have made sense to have a corner with smaller slides for under 9 if it’s a “kid friendly” resort - indoor play place for kids is 4 plus - no indoor toddler activities - no music at the water park! So quiet - EVERY food place closes from 10:30-12:30. ![]() ![]() Resort is good but definitely not ideal for young children and there are a few finishing touches missing that make this less than a 5 star.
